Comments about Crosley Traveler Turntable:
I like this suit case style, self contained, analog record player a lot. Analog, also means it sounds exactly like the old style analog record players of the 60's and 70's, and that is good. I think the analog players sound better than the digital players of today because it is full sound,as nothing is clipped due to bandwidth restraints, as with digital play. With this player you can not record you lp's to your computer as you play them. You need a digital record player with a USB port to do that, but they don't sound as good ,to me anyway. Any way, digital players weren't invented yet in the 60's and 70's, everything was analog audio equipment back then. For the price it works good enough and the best part is that it is portable. I think it is worth the money. If I play a record that skips,I put a penny on top of the needle cartridge for a little extra weight, problem solved. I like the tone control knob, not all units in this price range have this added feature and this is a important feature to have. The records sound so much better with the tone control knob feature. I would and have recommended this player to friends. Nothing sounds as good as analog vinyl lp's and 45's, played on an analog record player, like this one. Enjoy.
